Glasto Fashion 2013

Poppy Delevingne

I'm currently sitting watching Glastonbury on UKTV, half a world away from the action at Worthy Farm in Somerset. I never made it to Glasto when I lived in the UK - I have a bit of an aversion to camping. Even glamping! Although the Rolling Stones luxury 'Yurts' look pretty lush - it is the Stone's first Glastonbury appearance. Each year I love seeing what the celebs wear - especially Kate and Sienna. Check out some of my favourite past looks here. Following is a line up of my favourite looks from Glasto 2013.

Styley Mums

Elle UK November 1995

Yasmin Le Bon, Simon Le Bon, Saffron Le Bon, Amber Le Bon and Tallulah Le Bon

Years ago I saw this editorial in ELLE magazine, of Yasmin LeBon and her 3 daughters, and I thought "WOW. That's totally going to be me when I have kids!" Little did I know that motherhood isn't quite that glam - but you can certainly still have fun with fashion even as a brand new mum. No need to retire into trackies and uggs! (Well, unless at home, when it is definitely a leggings/trackies/uggs kind of environment for every day housework and baby-wrangling!) This Autumn I am definitely being inspired by these fashionable new mums. (Well, Kate & Victoria are not so new - but I couldn't leave my favourite fashion icons out, could I?)

Kate Moss & Lila

Gwen Stefani, Kingston & Zuma

Elsa Pataky & India

Sienna Miller & Marlowe

VB & Harper

Giselle Bundchen & Vivian

Boiler Suit Chic

Kate, April 2013

In the Summer of 2003 I went to a Hens' Party of 11 women on the Northern Beaches of NSW, Australia. What ensued was 48 hours of one of the best parties I'd ever attended. (But that's another story). However it transpired that I found a red boiler suit in the car of a friend's father that we'd borrowed to drive up. He likely used it when changing tires & the like. Anyway, on it went, and I wore it with relish all weekend. I loved that boiler suit! It's probably still in the back of my friend's Dad's car. I wish I had one now. So I'm loving seeing the boiler suit fashion coming to the fore lately.
