Things I'm liking in December

Well after an insanely hectic few months, I find myself at 5 days before Christmas with a mad dash to buy pressies, buy a free range turkey and get the house glammed up for the Christmas season! There are so many gorgeous shiny pretty things to buy around over Christmas, especially lovely Christmasy lingerie and makeup collections. Here are a few of my fave Chrissy items this year.

Fairy Lights. (In actual fact, I have them strewn about the house all year round)
Kate Moss by Corinne Day
Stella McCartney bedazzled Christmas knickers. I got mine from Bendon.
Crabtree & Evelyn yummy Christmas candles
Archipelago also do the most divine candles.
I'd love to nab these Holiday Collection ones.
Heston Blumenthal's 'Hidden Orange' Christmas Pudding. I've got mine from Nosh. Mmm.
I want to catch up on some movies, including Drive. I just downloaded the soundtrack.
I also want to see:

MAC Holidays Collections - 2011 is Glitter and Ice
Prosecco is a great Christmas tipple.
(Perhaps not Paris's canned version, however! But I do like her sparkly frock).
TOWIE Christmas Special - I love trashy TV
 Home made Christmas mince pies

Fave Summer jam
I'm being whipped away to a hol up North next week. I've always wanted to go to Cape Reinga and 90 Mile Beach (where The Piano was shot) - beautiful.
"Maori refer to Cape Reinga as the departing place of souls (Te Rerenga Wairua). Maori legend tells of a spirit trail (Te ara wairua) along Ninety Mile Beach. At the south end of the beach, departing spirits will wait for an outgoing tide before journeying back home to their ancestral land of Hawaiki."
I'll be heading to the Coromandel after New Year &
visiting my good friend Lorna's cafe in Colville - The Green Snapper Cafe

Love this movie @ Christmas time! Sunny LA, and the Cotswalds!

  1. Great Chrissy round up! I loved Drive, is it on in NZ yet? And I'm very interested in Paris's prosecco in a can!

  2. Yes but am yet to see it! Been listening to the soundtrack a lot though. Prosecco reminds me of our Chrissy in Melbs - yummo!
